By accessing or using Audio Video to Text, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Audio Video to Text provides AI-assisted transcription of audio/video you upload. We use reputable vendors (including Replicate, Cloudflare R2, Vercel, and Neon Postgres) to run the Service.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

  • Google Sign-In only. You are responsible for your account and maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent/guardian’s consent and supervision.

3. Your Content & Ownership

  • You own the content you upload and the resulting transcripts.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Service (including quality assurance, troubleshooting, and support at your request).

We do not use your content to train AI models.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or third-party rights (e.g., copyright, privacy).
  • Upload illegal content or content you don’t have the right to process.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or overload the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or security.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Processing & Retention

  • Transcription is performed via Replicate (Whisper-based). Replicate deletes job artifacts roughly 1 hour after processing.
  • We store your uploads, transcripts, and job metadata in our systems until you request deletion. See the Privacy Policy for details. Request account or content deletion by emailing support@audiovideototext.com from the Google account you use to sign in.

6. Credits, Pricing & Payments

  • Merchant of Record: Dodo Payments manages checkout, taxes, and receipts.
  • Currencies: Primary currency is USD. If Dodo Payments supports your local currency at checkout, it may be offered (subject to Dodo’s availability and changes).
  • Credits: Prepaid transcription credits currently do not expire. If our policy changes, previously purchased credits will remain valid for at least 12 months from the change date.
  • Refunds:
    • All sales are final. However, if you were wrongly charged, experienced a technical failure attributable to us, or are extremely dissatisfied with output quality, contact us within 14 days and we may issue a case-by-case refund.
    • If a refund is granted after usage, we may pro-rate based on unused credits.
    • We generally cannot refund already-consumed credits because we incur compute/model costs at the time of processing.
  • Invoices/receipts are issued by Dodo Payments.

7. Service Changes & Availability

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and outputs are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Transcripts may contain errors; review before relying on them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amounts you paid to us for credits in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (excluding taxes/fees collected by the Merchant of Record).

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Preetam Nath from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. DMCA / Copyright

Although Audio Video to Text is not a public-sharing platform, for issues related to website content or hosted assets, if you believe material on our website or within the Service infringes your rights, notify support@audiovideototext.com with details (work claimed, allegedly infringing material, your contact info, and a statement under penalty of perjury). We will review and respond appropriately.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a single arbitrator, seated at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India, in English. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We’ll post changes here and may notify you via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
